A california queen size mattress is approximately 60 inches by 84 inches. Our Back Pain Mattress is approximately 12 inches thick and the semi-flex foundation is approximately 7 inches thick, making the set a healthy 19 inches thick. Being in the mattress business many years, I can partially judge mattress quality by weight. The heavier the mattress, the more support inside. I have seen a thick pillow top mattress (not one I sell) weigh next to nothing. Junk. This Back Pain Mattress has serious weight to it. Great stuff!

If you purchase a Back Pain Mattress set, than you also receive the semi flex foundation box spring. Unlike a cheaper foundation, the semi flex foundation has a square designed torsion system to allow some flex in the top of the box. This is superior because the flex box takes the hard bumps and this wears less on the springs of the mattress. You always want to back up a mattress with a good base. If your old box spring or foundation dips in the middle, your mattress will eventually follow this dip and become damaged and uncomfortable. Also, be sure that you have an excellent base for the foundation box spring. That means an excellent metal frame with additional supports and well supported base. The Back Pain Mattress is a two sided mattress. A two sided mattress is hard to find these days because it costs less money to build a one sided mattress, which leaves more profit in some ones pocket. Although a one sided mattress is advertised like it is a great invention, the fact is you get less with a one sided mattress and it wears faster. The beauty of a two sided mattress is you can flip it over and give the opposite side a rest. A mattress will last longer if you turn it over once a month or so. You can also turn it from head to toe.

WARRANTY Our back pain mattress will last for years. It is firm and does not rely upon soft padding that can imprint and indent over a short period of time. However, we do not warranty our bed because we ship it all over the country and it is cost prohibitive to do a return. With proper metal frame support and proper box spring support (if you buy a set you get an excellent one) the mattress will last a very long time.

SHIPPING: Your Back Pain Mattress or Mattress Set will arrive as a curbside only drop which means that you will need two strong people to take it off of the truck and bring it indoors. Our shipper calls and makes an appointment with you. White Glove shipping is available. If you choose White Glove, they will generally bring your Back Pain Mattress (or set) inside and in some cases take away the packing materials. Please note White Glove Delivery can add a week to shipping time due to scheduling.
